Very helpful and encouraging staff. Fun and interesting challenges for all skill levels. Soft and clean safety pads everywhere. New routes every week or even more frequently. They have some weightlifting equipment for conditioning as well as barbells and free weights. Newly renovated toilets and clean environment.
Routes are easily distinguished from each other and rated using Vermin scale.

The routes weekly renewal is well scheduled, as much as the difficulty is well thought to allow every type of climbers to enjoy, from beginners to experts, from technical oriented move to physical dynamic moves.

The gym is huge. I didn't expect gym of this size in HK. Lots of beginner friendly climbs, and a good variety of slabs, overhangs, and even a cave for all levels. I am v4 v5 back home and the grading seems accurate.

The routes are very easy to identify and well labelled. The reason I mention this is because the walls other smaller gyms in HK are very cluttered with holds from several routes overlapping all over the place. This gym in contract the holds of all the routes are well spaced with no overlapping issue. To me that is a huge plus towards the overall climbing experience.

There are good gym facilities - Pullup Bars, Dumbbells, Olympic barbell, EZ curl bars, Parallels, Gymnastics rings, Moon Board, Campus Board, Spray Wall, Beastmaker 2000. All you need if you wanna get shredded !!

Price wise it's very competitive. Gym membership in HK is 700HKD per month. But here you get climbing plus gym for similar price.

Because of lapses of safety measures by Verm city I severely injured my ankle at that place. 8 months later I still haven't fully healed and may need to undergo a surgery whose outcome is also uncertain.
I have received no support or even acknowledgement of the harm done to me by the gym.
Verm city is a place where faulty landing mats installations are allowed to stay unaddressed for days even after several reports from users. It is also a place where accountability is nowhere to be found.
I seriously advise against visiting this gym if you care about your physical integrity.

Best climbing gym I visited on my trip to Hong Kong. The routes were set so well and I enjoyed it that much I ended up climbing for 4hours!
Never met such a friendly climbing community with everyone being friendly and helpful.

Away from the heat and humidity [of a Hong Kong summers day in June], we spent a good five hours here as a family and didn't even realize it. The staff [on duty] were helpful and encouraging of our 7-year old daughter, we [really] had a perfect afternoon, and we would recommend it. With a clip and climb activity area, there's something for the playful novice and, with the bouldering (probably best to bring your own chalk) area - something for the more adventurous or experienced [albeit limited in height] without having to deal with Hong Kong's humidity. A great place to burn all of that excess energy, our very active 7-year old daughter fell asleep on the way home - mission accomplished. One-off sessions are a little steep; however, if you enjoyed yourself, which we did, you can convert the money you spent on your first session to a more affordable package. [Relatively] easy to find and access on Hong Kong Island, whether you drive as we did (we parked in the Millennium Plaza on the opposite side of the road), take the train (Quarry Bay Exit C / Model House - being the closest exit) or the tram (Healthy Street East Stop, on the King's Road) - you shouldn't have too many issues finding it as its opposite the North Point Fire Station / Fire Services HQ Building. Overall, a great place to spend some time as a family and, an excellent experience for both children and adults!
